Naveen Jain Gives to the Indian American Education Foundation

Founded by Dr. Prem Kumar, the IAEF envisions a progressive Indian American community by taking the responsibility of developing positive understanding and perception about the culture and heritage of India in mainstream America.
Founded in May 2000, the Indian American Education Foundation has programs for integrated education of the disabled, the disadvantaged, the youth, and even the teachers. Its teacher training program prepares to expand its centers in Mumbai, Kolkata, and New Delhi to balance the level and quality of instruction to teachers of special education that is basically available at leading institutions in the West.
As a supporter of the cause, Naveen Jain has already earned renown for his philanthropic associations. Dubbed as the “Person who will Change the Net”, Naveen Jain was ranked 121st in Forbes annual list of Richest Americans. In 2008, he and his company gave away around $210,000 to various philanthropic organizations.
Naveen Jain has even imparted his philanthropic spirit to his company’s drives. The company has a volunteer program that encourages employees to actively take part in charitable foundations inside their local community. Intelius even gives its employees paid leave for them to spend their time volunteering for their favorite local non-profits.
