First, I’m not that desperately cheesball dude, comfortably occupied by being without a date on a Friday night. It’s unlikely you have never pegged me to write a blog on great dating and compatibility. There’s a reason for that.

Idleness is a fixable popular feeling and entirely missing from my man programming (man-gramming?). But I do have a tender heart. I’ll level with you, I was forced to squelch a special fling and I felt a great deal for but just wasn’t meant to be. Therefore one would go on record saying it may have been a good since I dated someone new. I don’t have the great expectations in relationships I once did.

Living free and single isn’t bad. I know one thing, I can’t spend another weekend undisturbed, watching Two and a Half Men reruns. The real cause of this case of weekend dating boredom? This isn’t college, and everyone else is boring.

My accomplished hunting buddy, Brandon, who doesn’t know the meaning of dating lameness, informed me he’s almost shooting from the same blind as I am. He joinedGreat Expectations Dallas. A bit out of character, but I enjoy getting to know quality ladies around my age. Surprise, I put myself on a plan and joined.

I told myself, you wouldn’t grovel by being alone if ya haven’t stepped off the bench. Like my senior year baseball coach Chris Neelon repeated to no end with a smile, “When the ladies don’t bite, bite them first, turbo.”

I don’t know why he called me that. However, he was right in a good old fashioned way. He meant well to everyone. This fantastic company offering matchmaking services in Dallas that I use could have short circuted the gipper’s brain.

At great expectations singles events I talked to some insightful and appealing ladies that meet my interest. I truthfully had a carefree night with a few indisputably well-situated men and women. Went home following a promising exchange of numbers, and as a plus, I grew some political acquaintances for my career. Success.

Get out there. You won’t complain if you sit the bench. Take it from me, at least have great expectations for life’s sake.

Frankly,

Josiah
